The Stone Carvings of the Garden Scene on Liuzhizhou Mountain are a protected cultural relic site of Jiangsu Province.

The Stone Carvings of the Garden Scene on Liuzhizhou Mountain are located on the southeastern slope of Liuzhizhou Mountain, Gangzui Village, Jinping Town, Haizhou District, Lianyungang City. The carvings are engraved on a 20-meter-long natural rock face on the southeastern slope of the mountain. The remaining scene stretches 6.3 meters from north to south, with the southern part standing 0.6 meters high and the northern part 1.6 meters high, covering an area of approximately 8 square meters. The scene is composed of patterns featuring pavilions and animals. Two pavilion-style buildings are situated slightly right of the center. These pavilions are stilt-style structures, two stories high with straight-pitched roofs. The central part of the first-floor roof is carved with a pattern of perforated discs, flanked by multiple horizontal lines above and below. The main body of the buildings also features perforated disc motifs, and both pavilions are shown with columns standing in water. Between the left pavilion’s upper section and the right pavilion, three horizontal characters “—” and two vertical characters “元三” are carved — these are believed to have been added during the Cultural Revolution. Various animals such as deer, ducks, and waterfowl are carved around the buildings, each in different poses. The carvings are done in intaglio line engraving with bold, rustic lines, exhibiting a distinctly classical Han Dynasty stone relief style. They were designated as part of the fourth batch of cultural relics protection sites in Jiangsu Province in 1995.

East to the small path at the southern foot of the mountain, south to the foot of Pingdingshan, west to the western foot of Pingdingshan, and north to the edge of Shitang Cliff.
