Lianyungang Modern Agricultural Science and Technology Demonstration Park is located on the banks of Yudai River in the southern suburbs of Xinhua District, Lianyungang City. The park is divided into several zones, including high-end flowers, export-oriented vegetables, premium fruit and forestry, landscaping seedlings, aquatic farming, courtyard agriculture, agricultural product processing, and commercial trade. Leveraging its geographical advantage as the eastern bridgehead of the Eurasian Continental Bridge, the park uses urban agriculture as a carrier, with science and technology as the driving force, and makes comprehensive and adaptive use of natural, social, and cultural resources. It plans to become a scenic, well-equipped export-oriented agricultural base and science education center within five years, integrating modern horticulture, agricultural product processing, agricultural trade, and agri-tourism. The goal is to serve as a model for agricultural modernization, urban-rural integration, and sustainable development. By introducing, demonstrating, and promoting new varieties and technologies, the park aims to facilitate the adjustment of agricultural planting structures in surrounding counties and districts, guide farmers toward prosperity, spur the development of related industries, and play a leading role as an anchor enterprise.
