Haizhou Ancient City

Haizhou is a long-established coastal ancient city that has undergone multiple site relocations and endured many vicissitudes. In recent years, to support the development of tourism, the local government has carried out large-scale restoration and renovation efforts. Notably, the Drum Tower and Shuanglong Well have been restored, while the Quyang Gate and Qin Dongmen stone carvings have been newly built. Religious activity sites such as Baizi An and Bixia Temple have also been refurbished and opened to the public, featuring carved beams and painted rafters, giving the classic-style Haizhou a brand-new look and making it an increasingly attractive tourist destination.

Now, a highway connecting Haizhou Ancient City to Kongwang Mountain is fully open, linking major attractions such as Haizhou Ancient City, Shipeng Mountain, Zhizhu Mountain, Ta Mountain, and Kongwang Mountain into a single route, forming a uniquely scenic belt.
