Jiulongkou Site
The Jiulongkou Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Lianyungang City.
The Jiulongkou Site is situated in a sheltered, sunlit valley named Jiulongkou on the eastern side of Jinping Mountain, currently within Taowan Village, Jinping Town, Haizhou District. The site spans 150,000 square meters. In 1957, a set of Warring States period chime bells, Shang Dynasty pottery, bronze arrowheads, and Warring States pottery shards were discovered here. One red sandy-textured tripod cauldron with a partitioned body reveals elements of the Dongyi culture. This site is of great importance in exploring Dongyi culture. It was designated as one of the first batch of cultural heritage protection units of Lianyungang City in 1982.
