China Urbanization History Museum

The China Urbanization History Museum is located on the basement level, covering an exhibition area of 2,000 square meters. It is a thematic museum dedicated to the process of human urbanization, integrating display, research, promotion, education, and exchange. The museum combines knowledge, education, leisure, and entertainment, and utilizes modern audiovisual and lighting technologies to showcase the historical evolution of the relationship between humans and urbanization, as well as the gradual development of urbanization worldwide and in China. It highlights the practices of urbanization in Huai'an, explores the innovative path of "new-type urbanization" in Huai'an, reveals the problems that arise during the process of human urbanization, and explains the concept of urbanization centered on people and sustainable development. The China Urbanization History Museum has been authorized by the China International Urbanization Development Strategy Research Committee as a "China International Urbanization Development Strategy Research Base." On its opening day, the 17th China Urbanization Development Forum was successfully held, generating strong repercussions nationwide.
