The "Remembering the South" customer experience tour, as one of the signature brand events of New Century Hotels & Resorts, has been running for six consecutive years. While previous editions focused on routes in East China, this event expanded significantly to include a Northern itinerary — marking the first time such an experience has been tailored for clients from South China. It injected new vitality into the experience tour series. As is well known, the Northern market boasts abundant historical and cultural resources, scenic spots, and rich local customs, making it an important source of tourists. Recognizing this, New Century Hotels & Resorts placed high importance on the region, proactively expanding its reach, integrating hotel resources, and actively promoting exchanges and collaborations during this Northern tour. This move has made a significant contribution to the group’s market expansion and brand influence.

Changchun New Century Grand Hotel, known for blending the charm of Jiangnan with the vibe of a northern spring city, specially invited officials from the Changchun Tourism Bureau to introduce local attractions. Interactive activities such as WeChat-based “like collecting” and “shake to win” raffles brought the event atmosphere to a climax. In addition, the hotel’s on-site promotion of the “1990 Special Offer,” which included ten room vouchers, attracted strong interest from many travel agencies and conference companies. Nanhu International Travel Agency made an on-the-spot booking.
On the afternoon of May 8, guests gathered at Beijing New Century Grand Hotel to hear enthusiastic presentations from 12 New Century hotels. Luo Qing, Vice Marketing Director of New Century Hotels & Resorts, delivered the opening presentation, stating that Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou are key source markets for the group. Through the experience tours, the potential for close collaboration between New Century Hotels and travel agencies and conference companies in these cities is broad and promising. Each property showcased its unique appeal and marketing strengths in creative and vivid ways.
The presentations featured frequent interaction and yielded significant outcomes. After hearing the introduction of Xuzhou New Century Grand Hotel, Beijing Heying Conference Service Co., Ltd. expressed keen interest and inquired about rates for July to September, noting the hotel's facilities, distinctive services, and location were highly suitable and satisfactory. Ctrip International Conference & Exhibition Co., Ltd. inquired about hosting a small conference group at Xinxiang New Century Grand Hotel later this month and has already reached a cooperation intent. Zhang Kun, General Manager of Kaifeng New Century Grand Hotel, together with a delegation from the Kaifeng Tourism Bureau, participated in the promotion event. Zhang Bin, a gold-medal guide from the bureau, gave a vivid and captivating introduction to Kaifeng’s tourism offerings and the features of the hotel, immersing attendees in the ancient capital’s historical culture and the hotel’s elegant surroundings. In addition, various New Century hotels engaged in extensive discussions with travel agencies and conference companies from Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou regarding package products, conference inquiries, and project collaborations. These interactions strengthened client relationships and laid a solid foundation for opening up a promising Northern market this year, as well as for further expansion in broader markets.
In recent years, New Century Hotels & Resorts has actively launched branded market campaigns, among which the “Remembering the South” customer experience tour series is a key initiative. The successful conclusion of this Northern journey not only secured strong cooperation intentions from many travel agencies and conference groups but also enhanced the core competitiveness and brand influence of New Century Hotels & Resorts.
