Dutch Flower Sea is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The national AAAA-level tourist attraction — Dutch Flower Sea is situated in Xinfeng Town in the northern part of Dafeng District, Jiangsu Province. It is right next to the exit of Xu-Da Expressway, a five-minute drive from downtown Dafeng, a 15-minute drive from Dafeng Port (a national first-class port), and a 25-minute drive from Yancheng Nanyang International Airport. It is a pilot project for integrated urban-rural development in Yancheng City, a four-star rural tourism destination in Jiangsu Province, a demonstration base for smart tourism and e-commerce in Jiangsu Province, a demonstration base for talent introduction in Jiangsu Province, as well as an innovative rural tourism project and a model unit for “tourism + internet.” Dutch Flower Sea deeply explores the historical heritage of being the “first village in the Republic of China with planned town layout,” drawing inspiration from 1919 when Dutch water management expert T. J. G. Telders planned the farmland water conservancy system of Xinfeng. With the functional positioning of “rooted in Yancheng, connected to Shanghai, and radiating across the Yangtze River Delta,” it focuses on three major industries: sightseeing tourism, wedding photography, and health and elderly care. It strives to become the “No. 1 Tulip Flower Sea in China” with the largest contiguous tulip plantation area and the greatest variety of tulips in the country.

Dafeng Dutch Flower Sea is a leisure garden with Dutch charm, designed around elements such as countryside landscapes, river networks, architecture, windmills, and flower seas.

“Tulips waft through the fragrant fields, Dutch style greets the spring.” The rural landscape and guest building “Dutch Homestead,” integrating Dutch farmhouse style with local cultural features, is located adjacent to the Dutch Flower Sea scenic area. With its fresh and elegant architectural style, beautiful surrounding natural scenery, and distance from the hustle and bustle of the city, it offers a serene and leisurely rural experience.
