Kuo Ju-hui, who had previously been traveling abroad for work, made a special trip back to Taiwan on the 21st to attend the company’s year-end party. She noted that last year presented major challenges to the tourism industry, including the H7N9 outbreak in China, heightened tensions on the Korean Peninsula, unrest in Thailand, and the implementation of new travel regulations for Chinese tourists. She emphasized that thanks to everyone’s hard work, the company achieved 97% of its annual targets—an impressive feat.

It is reported that Eastern Travel is expected to distribute a two-month year-end bonus this year. During the 21st year-end party, Chairman Lin Kuo-chun and General Manager Kuo Ju-hui further drew additional cash prizes totaling NT$130,000, sending the atmosphere soaring to its peak.
