Introduction

Adjacent to Yancheng Spring and Autumn Amusement Park, Yancheng Safari Park features wildlife in an ecological free-range environment. It offers two ways to explore: on foot or by vehicle (via park trains or self-drive), making it perfect for families. Dangerous animals are kept safely across moats from visitors, while gentle herbivores can be approached and fed.

The park houses over 20 specialized animal exhibits, including the Kangaroo House, Bird Aviary, Wolf Valley, Black Panther Pavilion, White Lion Pavilion, Siberian Tiger Pavilion, Peacock Garden, Ape House, Panda Village, and African Lion Tribe. For a walking tour, enter through the East Gate, turn right upon entry, and explore the exhibits counterclockwise. The East Gate is also the main entrance/exit, where the visitor center and ticket office are located. For a self-drive experience, enter via the South Gate’s safari zone and proceed clockwise.

The park features various animal performances, with the highlight being an exciting circus show. Exact performance times vary, so check the official website’s “Performance Schedule” section for details. Animal show fees are included in the admission ticket, so enjoy the shows to your heart’s content.

There are two restaurants in the park, ensuring you won’t go hungry or thirsty during your visit. The Flamingo Restaurant, located in the park’s center, serves Chinese set meals and combo dishes. Next to it is the scenic Flamingo Island—perfect for a post-meal stroll to admire the flamingos. The Giraffe Food Court, situated opposite the park train, offers a variety of snacks: grilled chicken wings, pork loin, wontons, popcorn, fried noodles, and more. Take a break, sit down, order a drink and a snack, and relax.

The park also offers paid children’s amusement rides, such as bumper cars, carousels, small airplanes, and streamboat rides, all available for an additional fee. Let the kids enjoy themselves while you take a break from animal viewing.
