Nantong Abacus Museum

The Nantong Abacus Museum is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The Nantong Abacus Museum was established and opened to the public in December 2004. It consists of three parts: the Abacus Exhibition Hall, the Academic Lecture Hall, and the Children's Mental Abacus Training Base, integrating functions such as display, research, teaching, exchange, and tourism.

The museum houses a collection of over 4,000 historical documents and books, many of which are unique or rare editions in the history of abacus development. It also holds more than 2,000 abacus tools from different historical periods in countries such as China, Japan, India, Russia, and Malaysia, featuring a variety of shapes.

The museum also offers a range of convenient services for visitors, including comfortable resting areas and souvenirs. Visitors can also try out the intelligent abacus developed by the museum on-site, getting an up-close experience with the counting tool. Ticket Information · Opening Hours
