The famous tourist attraction "Blue Print" on Haitian Road in Tainan City had been rumored since last year that its iconic blue wall, which had stood for 10 years, was about to be painted white. Today, it was reported that painters have indeed whitewashed the "Blue Print" wall, leaving many tourists who loved the Tainan landmark and members of the arts community feeling regretful.

The Haitian Road Art Street project was launched ten years ago. When visiting Tainan, almost everyone would include this street on their must-see list. The unique wall designed by Tainan architect Liu Guocang for his work "Blue Print" became a popular photo spot for many visitors.landmarkIt also served as a classic backdrop for couples taking wedding photos. Numerous restaurants, handmade goods shops, and other tourist-favorite stores once operated near the Blue Print, infusing the entire street with character and a leisurely vibe. This, in turn, revitalized the nearby Shennong Street, breathing new life and elements into its old buildings. However, the future location—where the iconic Blue Print might be reconstructed—is still uncertain.
