Baosteel is the largest and most modern large-scale integrated iron and steel enterprise built in China since the founding of the People's Republic. The first and second phases of the project were completed and put into operation in 1985 and 1991 respectively. By 2001, the third phase was completed, achieving an annual production capacity of 11 million tons of steel, with its technical equipment maintaining world-class standards. In 1997, Baosteel ranked first among China’s 500 largest enterprises and entered the top 100 companies in Asia.

Walking through the 189,000-square-kilometer modern factory area of Baosteel, you’ll be amazed by its lush, green ecological environment. Baosteel is a national advanced unit in afforestation and greening, with nearly 40% green coverage in its modern factory area. Over a hundred sika deer leisurely roam the green lawns of the elk park in front of the workshops, allowing you to experience Baosteel’s modern philosophy that prioritizes people, ecological conservation, and sustainable development.
