Yongqing Garden

Yongqing Garden is a community park covering an area of 29,840 square meters. It is bordered by Shuangcheng Road to the north, adjacent to Mudanjiang Road to the west, next to Yongqing Second Village to the east, and faces a newly built street green space along Mudanjiang Road to the south. The garden is centrally located in the Songbao area of Baoshan.

The garden has a natural layout, characterized by simple architecture in the style of traditional Jiangnan-style residences. The main entrance is located in the northern part of the park, where the Qingquan Square is built to highlight the theme of the park and also provides an activity area for local residents who exercise every morning. The eastern section features a large, open, gently sloping lawn, with meandering paths following the contours of the slope in a circular design that creates a rhythmic feel. The northeastern edge of the lawn is accented with solitary trees, tree clusters, and naturalistic flower borders and beds. In the southern part stands the “Qingying Pavilion,” which offers a scenic view as if facing mountains and water, making it an ideal spot for rest and sightseeing. The western area includes the “Qinghe Pond,” where stepping stones allow visitors to walk through the water—perfect for splashing around and enjoying the lotus flowers. The central part of the park is its water feature, also known as “Qingqing Lake.” Within the lake is a small island; when the breeze blows, water droplets dance and gentle waves lap the shore, while in calm weather, the lake becomes a mirror, reflecting the soft silhouette of the green island. On the eastern shore of the water is the “Qingting Pavilion,” which offers a pleasant view over Qingqing Lake, refreshing the mind and spirit. In the southeast corner of the park lies a children’s playground, which includes not only conventional facilities but also a 400-meter gravity slide, a 100-meter electric car track, and a 140-square-meter bumper car area.
