Attraction Introduction

Located north of the Outer Ring Road S20 in Baoshu District, Gucun Park is one of the larger parks in Shanghai’s northern suburbs. With its lush greenery, it is a popular spot for locals to enjoy outdoor activities. On regular days, the park doesn’t get too crowded, and on sunny days, families with children can often be seen having picnics or sunbathing. However, during the cherry blossom season in spring, the entire park becomes packed with visitors who come by car to admire the blossoms.

The park is quite large, and besides walking along the lake, you can also rent a bicycle to get around. In addition to setting up tents on the grass for picnics, flying kites, taking electric boat rides, or having barbecues with friends, the park also has several amusement facilities and a Dinosaur Park (additional fee required). The Dinosaur Park is a newer attraction featuring highly realistic dinosaurs and a 7D movie (20 RMB), which is especially popular with children.
