Putuo Park

Putuo Park is situated south of the Light Rail Mingzhu Line, north of the Suzhou River, and east of Dongxin Branch Road within Putuo District. It spans 19.78 mu, about 13,187 square meters, including 6,841 square meters of landscaped greenery, 4,759 square meters of roads, 1,086 square meters of play zones, 154 square meters of living and office areas, and 347 square meters of service facilities.

Putuo Park features a flat-roofed corridor, wisteria trellises, maroon terrazzo flooring, a hexagonal pavilion, a fitness garden, and small amusement facilities. Trees planted when the park was first established—such as crabapple, maple, ginkgo, plane, camphor, and cedar—have flourished over forty years, forming lush, mature woodlands.
