The Zhenguang Town Historical and Cultural Exhibition Hall serves as a patriotic education base.

The exhibition hall is divided into four sections: (1) Civilized Ancient Town, showcasing maps of Zhenguang from the Ming, Qing, and Republican periods, historical documents reflecting the town’s development over time; pottery fragments unearthed during dredging of the Taopu River and Liyuanbang Canal; the history of the changes to the Yuan Dynasty-era Zhenguang Temple and relics of eminent monks; as well as Zhenguang’s cultural heritage and notable historical figures, especially a group photo of athletes from Jinan University representing China at the 11th Olympic Games in 1936. (2) Commercial Hub, highlighting the history of Zhenguang as a “densely populated market town bustling with commerce.” (3) Military Stronghold, illustrating the history of battles such as those led by General Qi against the Jin, the Battle of Shanghai, and the Liberation War. (4) Prosperous Times, displaying the tremendous changes, achievements, and notable individuals that emerged in Zhenguang after the liberation, especially since the reform and opening-up period, along with a model of the planned Zhenguang Urban Sub-Center currently under construction. The main exhibition methods include photos, sculptures, dioramas, and physical artifacts, with added electronic displays suitable for youth education.
