Located on the south bank of Suzhou Creek, west of Yichang Road, and east of Jiangning Road Bridge, the park is surrounded by water on three sides and covers an area of 8.6 hectares. Designed in the new 21st-century Shanghai-style garden style, it emphasizes greenery with the Living Water Plaza at its center, achieving a greening rate of 84%. The Mengqing Pavilion within the park spans 3,200 square meters and was opened in June 2005. The pavilion is divided into three main sections: the first-floor introductory hall "Impressions of Suzhou Creek," the second floor "The Heavy Cost of Pollution," and the third floor "The Future of Suzhou Creek." The exhibition hall is equipped with advanced technological facilities such as a screening room, VIP lounge, holographic imaging room, multimedia systems, and interactive touch computers, as well as hands-on interactive models. The theme park also features a landscape water body biological purification system (a large wetland) and a 2.5-cubic-meter underground storage tank located six meters beneath the surface.
