Han Tower

Han Tower

Han Tower is a cultural relic protection unit of Putuo District.

Han Tower is located southwest of Dunhuang Road and south of Gulang Road in Taopu Town. Originally built in 1129, it underwent multiple restorations during the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China era, and was rebuilt in 2003 according to its original design. The rebuilt Han Tower is a three-story brick-and-wood structure with a regular hexagonal floor plan, featuring meticulously laid bricks on the walls and carved decorations on the upturned eaves.
