The Shanghai Tunnel Technology Museum covers an exhibition area of 2,155 square meters, consisting of three floors and a prelude hall. The museum uses high-tech means to showcase the achievements of Shanghai's tunnel construction and management, and employs interactive and participatory methods to provide science education to the public. The museum recreates the actual interior of a large slurry balance shield machine, allowing visitors to experience the tunnel construction site up close; the upper level of the Fuxing East Road Tunnel display area enhances realism through a large projector screen and real vehicles set up in the tunnel to simulate tunnel driving; in the virtual interaction zone, large projections and vehicle models allow visitors to truly experience the feeling of driving through a tunnel.
