Everbright City Green Space

Everbright City Green Space is located in the Everbright City area of Zhabei District, west of Gonghexin Road, south of Tianmu West Road, east of Huakang Road and Huasheng Road, and north of Qufu Road (planned). It covers an area of 43,003 square meters and is adjacent to Shanghai Railway Station.

This green space was a key municipal project in 2002. Construction started on April 10, 2002, and it officially opened to the public on December 4, 2002. The design theme of the green space is "Green Stream, Fragrant Walk, Moonlit Bond." Approximately 60% of the area is covered by arboreal forests, featuring over 100 tree species, which form the ecological foundation of the space. This reflects the design principle of "green-centric, ecology-first," aiming to create a tranquil, scenic, and immersive green oasis within the bustling urban environment.
