The Exhibition Room of the "Zhou Enlai" Locomotive serves as a patriotic education base.

The Exhibition Room of the "Zhou Enlai" Locomotive was established in 1978. In 1998, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of the beloved Premier Zhou and the 20th anniversary of the naming of the "Zhou Enlai" locomotive, the room was expanded and renovated. The then Minister of Railways inscribed the name "Exhibition Room of the 'Zhou Enlai' Locomotive," and the display room was thus renamed as an exhibition room. In 1996, the Exhibition Room of the "Zhou Enlai" Locomotive was designated as a patriotic education base by both the Ministry of Railways and Zhabei District.

The exhibition room covers an area of over 140 square meters and includes an exhibition hall and a multi-purpose hall. The exhibition hall displays 204 photos and materials on the life of Premier Zhou and the development of locomotives, as well as 107 physical exhibits. The exhibition room is mainly open to local primary and secondary school students and has so far welcomed over 60,000 visitors from all walks of life free of charge.
