Longhutai Tourist Area

Introduction Longhutai, also known as the Hunjiang Temporary Palace of the Liao Dynasty or Shao Yangchuan Temporary Residence, is located at the site of the ancient city village in Xinzhan Town, Zhaoyuan County. During the Liao Dynasty, Longhutai served as an important secondary capital. Today, remnants such as palace walls (the Forbidden City), burial sites of Emperor Daozong, and military fortifications still exist. This attraction complements the military passageway of Fuqiang Ancient City, together forming a complete Liao and Jin cultural tourism destination. The area is also the main production region for local tribute goods such as Southwest Digeng millet, hazelnuts, and daylilies (also called “forget-worry flowers”). Huangyu Island, situated in the main channel of the Nenjiang River within Fuqiang Township, retains its pristine vegetation. The 60-square-kilometer Longhutai Development Zone boasts unique natural scenery alongside profound historical heritage, making it highly valuable for development.

Xinzhan Town: Covering an area of 338 square kilometers, it is located in the golden triangle area between Zhaoyuan, Da’an, and Daqing, giving it certain geographical advantages.
