Taiping Forest Park was established in 1997, covering a total area of 1,687 hectares with an elevation of 195 meters. The park is located about 3 kilometers from Nancha Station, making it very easily accessible. It currently features over 30 types of scenic forests, with a higher proportion of Korean pine, larch, oak, birch, and poplar trees; there are also over 40 cultural landscapes and countless natural wonders. Here you’ll find rivers, bridges, mountains, temples, fishing spots, rafting activities, waterside restaurants, and tower-top accommodations. Visiting this place on a holiday offers a truly refreshing experience—clearing the mind, soothing the spirit, with the sounds of Buddhist chants in the air, all worldly concerns forgotten. With a drink in hand and the breeze in your face, joy abounds.

Taiping Park is home to Taiping Temple, which was built in 1997 and covers an area of 15,000 square meters. The temple complex includes ten halls: the Hall of Heavenly Kings, the Mahavira Hall, the Guanyin Hall, the Hall of the Three Saints of the West, the Ksitigarbha Hall, the 0 Hall, the Sangharama Hall, the Preaching Pagoda, the Bodhidharma Hall, and the Disaster-Relieving and Auspicious Hall. Especially noteworthy is the Guanyin Hall, where locals say that in 1999, the Bodhisattva Guanyin manifested a miraculous sign—an astonishing event that draws numerous Buddhist disciples, lay practitioners, and devoted worshippers to pay their respects. The entrance gate of Taiping Forest Park stands 8 meters tall and presents a grand and imposing sight. The park’s Rainbow Bridge stretches 168 meters across the Yongcui River. To the east of the Rainbow Bridge is the Wanfu Tower, and to the west is the Chunlai Pavilion—both are great spots for visitors to enjoy a meal.

The park’s Xinglong Tower has eight levels. The first to fourth levels are available for visitors to enjoy entertainment, sightseeing, dining, and accommodation, while the eighth level offers panoramic views of the spectacular scenery of Xianweng Mountain.

The Water Park is a great destination for holiday rafting and fun. Visitors can play in the water, relax on the sandy beach, or enjoy sunbathing. Taking a rafting boat allows you to admire the beautiful mountain forests along both riverbanks and witness the unique natural landscapes.
