Liangjiazi Reservoir

Liangjiazi Reservoir is located 6 kilometers northeast of Nong'an County, on the Liangjiazi Gully, a tributary of the Yitong River in the Second Songhua River basin. The dam site is situated at 44°03'00"N latitude and 125°01'30"E longitude. The overall terrain of the reservoir area is relatively flat, characterized by a ridged landscape, with a relatively open river valley. Most of the area is cultivated land with relatively poor vegetation. The soil is mostly loess-like silty clay. Most of the crops are grown on dry land.

The entire drainage basin of the reservoir is fan-shaped, with a catchment area of 150 square kilometers. It is designed to withstand a 50-year flood and verified for a 300-year flood, with a total storage capacity of 10.62 million cubic meters. The reservoir was constructed in 1973 and completed in 1974. It is a medium-sized reservoir serving multiple purposes including water supply, flood control, and fish farming.
