The Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery of Jindou Korean and Manchu Ethnic Township is located 2 kilometers east of Jindou Village, the seat of the township government in Jindou Korean and Manchu Ethnic Township, Tonghua County, beside the Beigou River. Covering an area of 1,200 square meters with a protected zone of 850 square meters, it was renovated in August 2010.

On April 3, 1947, with the successful conclusion of the Four Defenses of Linjiang and the Three Downriver Campaigns, our army turned the tide of the war in southern Manchuria and across the entire Northeast region, marking our transition from the strategic defense phase to a full-scale — phase. To end the fragmented situation of the liberated areas in the Northeast, on May 13, 1947, the headquarters of the Northeast Democratic Allied Army launched the first major offensive against the Nationalist troops, known as the Summer Offensive. On May 22, Tonghua was liberated for the second time. During the battle for the second liberation of Tonghua, in mid-May, a unit—either the 3rd or 4th Column—of the Northeast Democratic Allied Army attacked Kuaida Maizi (now Kuaida Maizhen Town, the county seat of Tonghua County). The Nationalist troops stubbornly held their ground relying on fortifications on Kuaida Maizi Mountain, resulting in intense fighting with heavy casualties on both sides. During the battle, the people of Jindou Village in Kuaida Maizi District (now Jindou Korean and Manchu Ethnic Township) sent stretcher teams to evacuate the wounded. Nine severely injured soldiers stopped breathing when they were carried to Jindou Village, and local villagers buried them on the spot. Additionally, between March and April 1947, two soldiers—Li Dongxun and Yin Guangcai—from either the 3rd or 4th Column of the Northeast Democratic Allied Army were carrying out missions in Jindou Village when they were discovered by Nationalist soldiers. They died heroically in battle.

When the township government renovated the martyrs' cemetery in August 2010, the two burial sites were combined, creating a larger memorial site with expanded influence and a renewed appearance. It is now collectively referred to as the Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery of Jindou Korean and Manchu Ethnic Township, Tonghua County, and is the final resting place of 11 soldiers from either the 3rd or 4th Column of the Northeast Democratic Allied Army.

Established in the spring of 1947, put into use in April 1950, and renovated in August 2010, the site has been completely refurbished, now in excellent condition. (Provided by the Party School of the Tonghua County Committee of the CPC)
