Martyrs' Cemetery in Da Fengmi Gully

The Martyrs' Cemetery in Da Fengmi Gully, Sankeshuyu Village, Sankeshuyu Town, is located on the southern slope of Nanshan Mountain in Sankeshuyu Village, the seat of the Sankeshuyu Town government in Tonghua County, about 2 kilometers from the village center. It covers an area of 150 square meters, with a protected area of the same size.

In October 1946, under the command of the Nationalist Northeast Security Commander-in-Chief's Office, Nationalist troops advanced toward Tonghua along the Shenyang–Fushun–Xinbin line. In mid-October, after capturing Xinbin, the enemy’s 195th Division continued its eastward push. On the night of October 19, the 20th and 21st Regiments of the 7th Division of the 3rd Column of the Northeast Democratic Allied Army engaged in fierce combat with the 2nd Battalion of the 584th Regiment of the 195th Division of the Nationalist 52nd Army in Gujiao Mountain of Wangqingmen, Xinbin County, and Xiapai Tun of Sankeshuyu Village, Ying’ebu District, Tonghua County, decisively defeating the invading forces. The Martyrs' Cemetery in Sankeshuyu Village, Sankeshuyu Town, Tonghua County, is the burial site of two PLA soldiers—Jiang Zhongkuan and Li Xiangwen—who sacrificed their lives in this battle. Additionally, it also houses the remains of four martyrs who died during the Korean War, including Liu Yaowu.
