Located within the campus of Northeast Electric Power University at No. 169 Changchun Road. It was built in 1929 by Zhang Zuoxiang, then governor of Jilin Province, to promote higher education in Jilin. The complex consists of a main building, an east wing, and a west wing, all designed by the renowned Chinese architect Liang Sicheng. The main building covers a floor area of 3,383 square meters, while the east and west wings each have a construction area of 3,018 square meters. This group of buildings features a grand design and exceptional structure, and is considered one of the masterpieces of modern Chinese architectural history.
