Qian'an Park

The beautiful and pleasant Qian'an Park was first built in 2001. It is located at the northwest corner of the West Ring Road in the urban area of Qian'an County, covering an area of 180,000 square meters. Of this, the green space covers 77,000 square meters, and the paved area 10,000 square meters. It is a multifunctional comprehensive park integrating sightseeing, leisure, fitness, and entertainment.

Qian'an Park, with its classical elegance and winding serene paths, features over ten large and small scenic spots. The musical fountain square, rockeries with cascading waterfalls, lotus ponds, swimming pools, fitness and play areas, landscape lighting, landscape bridges, lawns, animal and plant sculptures, and the towering ancient elm trees all contribute to making the park look like a natural traditional Chinese painting. Qian'an Park everywhere showcases the distinctive and captivating charm of being a “fine green space in northern China.”

Stepping into the park, one is drawn to a stunning sight — the musical fountain — which captures the attention of many visitors. Accompanied by music, it prepares for one perfect performance after another. When the symphony begins, the water gracefully and lightly plays a moving melody. The water jets, shooting up dozens of meters high, rise and fall, scattering glistening white droplets that feel cool and refreshing against your skin.

Under the sunlight, the cascading water sparkles brilliantly, presenting a magnificent scene. The lotus pond and swimming pool, along with the surrounding buildings and landscape bridges, further enhance its beauty.

Approaching the nearly century-old ancient elm tree, you look up to see its towering form and robust strength. As a gentle breeze passes, the branches sway down, almost touching you, as if whispering tales of bygone years and the city’s historical changes. Despite enduring a hundred years of wind and snow, it retains a sense of classic elegance, contributing to the refined charm of Qian'an Park.

Climbing up the wide steps to the hilltop and looking down at the entire park, a picturesque and delightful scene unfolds before your eyes. The uniquely styled pavilions and the undulating greenery complement each other beautifully. In the distance, sculptures of elephants, penguins, peacocks, zebras, and cows, decorated with colorful greenery, appear as if dressed in vibrant costumes, lifelike and full of spirit, seemingly brought to life.

The park also features domed landscape bridges, rockeries with cascading waterfalls, uniquely designed animal and plant sculptures, colorful landscape lights, a wide variety of perennial flowers, plants, and trees, as well as a comprehensive range of fitness equipment. These distinctive structures connect the park’s scenery into one, forming a grand and magnificent architectural exhibition. Everyone who visits Qian'an Park is enchanted by its breathtaking natural beauty. In spring, apricot blossoms begin to bloom, filling the air like a sea of fragrant snow; in midsummer, green hills pile up in layers of lushness; in late autumn, golden leaves cover the park, filling the air with fragrance; in deep winter, snow blankets the hills, shining like silver and jade.

The park in the evening is so tranquil. A gentle evening breeze blows, shadows of lights flicker, and leaves rustle softly. Each patch of green space seems like a “green island” within the park. Flocks of birds fly up and down, chirping crisp and melodious calls, blending into this richly colored scene, bringing a sense of peace and joy.

As night falls, the colorful landscape lights illuminate the ground, making the park dazzlingly bright. This is a view unique to Qian'an Park. This beautiful scenery leaves behind a deep sense of nostalgia and extends the imagination, as splendid and colorful as a rainbow after the rain.
