Bajiazi Xianfeng National Forest Park is a national forest park.

In December 2002, it was approved as a national forest park by the State Forestry Administration.

The park has a unique natural geographical location and enjoys excellent locational advantages, serving as a necessary route to the famous tourist destination of Changbai Mountain.

The park is divided into four major functional zones: scenic sightseeing area, folk culture leisure area, comprehensive tourism service area, and administrative management area, featuring a total of 42 scenic spots. Within the park lies a Sleeping Buddha lying atop the peak of Xianfeng, facing Changbai Mountain across the range, with diverse forms and undulating shapes; monks and hermits once built temples here to practice and attain enlightenment. The Xian Lake at the source of the Tumen River is surrounded by green trees, with its blue waters gently rippling. The landscape formed by basalt is spectacular and unique, dotted with numerous springs and streams that are crystal clear and sweet to the taste. The 14-kilometer-long rime and fog rime belt is the longest in China, and the breathtaking underground rivers, geothermal springs, and ice waterfalls are truly awe-inspiring. The park also features ethnically distinctive wooden houses, the ruins of a Japanese military airfield, and high-standard off-road and competitive ski resorts that are truly captivating. Additionally, there are numerous revolutionary bases and heroic tales of martyrs’ struggles, along with long-standing folk legends. All these wonders will leave you spellbound and reluctant to leave.
