Mudongmei Ski Resort is located in Chunxing Village, Yilan Town, on the northern outskirts of Yanji City, 12 kilometers from the city center. The resort features two ski runs: an intermediate run that is 850 meters long and a beginner run that is 450 meters long. It has one double chairlift and two T-bar lifts, with a capacity to accommodate 2,000 skiers. The resort is equipped with advanced skis, snowmaking machines, and snow groomers. There is also a 100-meter snow tubing track, a 300-meter area for snowmobiles and snow bikes, as well as an ice-skating rink. A spacious rental and service hall is available, featuring a retail shop, a fast-food restaurant, and a café. In summer, the resort offers a grass sledding area, a 1,000-meter dry toboggan run, a holiday village, orchards, and fishing ponds, making it a great suburban summer retreat. Nestled within a natural forest, the ski resort provides an ideal escape for urban dwellers to relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle. Nearby is the Korean ethnic village of Chunxing, where visitors can enjoy farm-style meals and local hospitality in traditional Korean homes after skiing.

Features of Mudongmei Ski Resort: First is the favorable climate. The resort lies within the Yanji small basin, which enjoys a cool and moist environment — “snow-covered yet not too cold, high-altitude but without strong winds.” The average winter temperature is around minus 10°C, making it suitable for skiing. Second is the convenient transportation. The resort is situated in the suburbs of Yanji City, on Provincial Highway “Songlao Line.” It takes only 30 minutes to drive here from downtown, offering easy access.

Transportation: By car — From Yanji, drive north along the Wangqing Highway. At the fork between Wangqing and Tumen, take the left road. After about 100 meters and crossing a small bridge, turn right and continue along the village road. When you reach a fork inside Chunxing Village, take the left road again, and the ski resort will be 200 meters ahead. There are also shuttle buses to Mudongmei Ski Resort, departing daily at fixed times from the parking lot of Yanji West Market.
