Shenyang Wulihe Park

Shenyang Wulihe Park stretches 4 kilometers from east to west, starting from Changqing Bridge in the east and ending at Hunhe River Bridge in the west; it extends 400 meters from north to south, beginning at the Second Ring Road in the north and reaching the banks of the Hunhe River in the south. The first phase of the project commenced construction in April 2001 and was completed in June 2002. The park covers a total area of 126 hectares (including a 12-hectare river island), and combines cultural, leisure, and recreational functions. It is the largest urban riverside park in Shenyang.

The park's design emphasizes landscaping with plants and is divided into several main zones: the Natural Landscape Area, Cultural & Leisure Area, Entertainment & Service Area, Exotic Bird Ecology Area, Roadside Landscape Area, Wetland Ecology Area, and Main Entrance Area. Landscaped features within the park—such as the 100-meter musical fountain, Dragon Stream, artificial beach, Wulihe Dock Square, and Central Plaza—draw on advanced domestic and international design concepts and are considered top-tier in China.
