Zhongshan Park Zoo in Shenyang is located in the northeast corner of Zhongshan Park and is currently the largest urban children’s amusement park in the city. The zoo has begun trial operations and is expected to officially open to the public on May 15, 2011. It integrates a natural history museum, a zoo, an amusement park, a 3D cinema, and a toy wonderland.

Zhongshan Park Zoo in Shenyang is a national-level science education base, a wildlife breeding and conservation base in Shenyang, and the only natural history museum, zoo, and large-scale children's amusement park in the city.
