The Liaoning Industrial Exhibition Hall is located in the southern part of Shenyang, the largest city in Northeast China, situated in the commercial and cultural center. Adjacent to Shenyang’s main traffic artery, Qingnian Street, it connects to Shenyang North Railway Station and Shenyang Taoxian International Airport, enjoying a prime location and convenient transportation.

The Liaoning Industrial Exhibition Hall was put into use in 1960. The exhibition hall building is a mixed-use structure with one, two, and three floors. After renovation and expansion in 2005, the total area has now reached 50,000 square meters, including 12,000 square meters available for exhibitions, capable of accommodating 600 international standard booths, suitable for large-scale exhibitions and celebratory events.

To facilitate related activities such as conferences and forums that accompany exhibitions, the exhibition hall also houses VIP reception rooms, meeting rooms, and a multi-functional auditorium. On either side of the central lobby, the reception and meeting areas include two VIP reception rooms—one in a Chinese style and one in a European style—along with one meeting room and one multi-functional auditorium. Equipped with advanced audiovisual playback and transmission systems, they can meet various needs such as forums, academic conferences, and business negotiations. Additionally, the Liaoning Industrial Exhibition Hall has an outdoor square covering 12,000 square meters, providing convenience for companies to carry out product promotions and publicity activities.

In 2009, the Provincial Furniture Association presented the hall with a banner in gratitude for its exhibition services. On September 11, 2009, Mr. Lin Wei from the Shenyang Municipal Bureau of Culture and the Shenyang Municipal Bureau of Press and Publication specially visited the hall on behalf of the "Northeast Cultural Expo" organizing committee to present a banner inscribed with “Exhibition Elite, First-Class Service,” expressing appreciation for the hall’s support and cooperation during the expo. The organizing committee also awarded the hall the “Outstanding Contribution Award of the Cultural Expo” and bestowed the individual title of “Outstanding Contribution Award” on General Manager Yi Jieming. On September 20, 2009, just before the closing of the “Agricultural Expo,” Mr. Zhang, Director of the Shenyang Rural Economy Commission, and Mr. Wang Shenming, Section Chief, jointly presented the hall with a plaque inscribed with “Dedicated to Exhibitions, Comprehensive Service,” highly praising the high-quality services provided by the hall during the setup, operation, and dismantling of the “Agricultural Expo.”

The Liaoning Industrial Exhibition Hall has been awarded the title of “Youth Civilization Unit of the Year 2009” by both the Shenyang Youth Civilization Office and the Provincial SASAC, and has been consecutively honored as a “Liaoning Workers’ Pioneer Unit” for two years. In 2011, it was recognized by the National Exhibition Evaluation Activity Office with the “National Excellent Exhibition Venue Management Award,” named “Best Exhibition Enterprise in Liaoning Province and Shenyang City for the Year 2010” by the Liaoning Provincial Exhibition Association, and selected as a “Consumer Satisfaction Unit for the Year 2010” by the Shenyang Consumer Association.

The Liaoning Industrial Exhibition Hall hosts nearly 60 domestic and international exhibitions and economic-trade events each year, covering a wide range of fields including building materials, automobiles, hardware, electricity, printing, medical care, commerce, furniture, public safety, advertising, food, clothing, and human resources. Over the years, thanks to its unparalleled geographical advantages, the Liaoning Industrial Exhibition Hall has become an important window for economic and technological exchanges and trade activities in Liaoning Province and Shenyang City.
