Changbai Island Forest Park serves as a science education base.

Changbai Island Forest Park is situated on the southern bank of the Huanhe River in the Changbai section, stretching from Gongnong Bridge in the east to the Changda Railway in the west. It is about 2,100 meters long and spans a total area of 420,000 square meters, and is open to the public free of charge. The park boasts beautiful scenery and a refreshing environment, featuring a wooden boardwalk that extends over 2,000 meters and several water’s-edge platforms. There is also an artificial creek that runs throughout the park, designed in the shape of the Huanhe River. In 2012, the central stone path was renovated and repurposed as an asphalt road dedicated to bicycle riding. Here, you won’t find the hustle and bustle of the city or the hazy air under the scorching sun. Instead, you’ll enjoy the gentle breeze carrying the fragrance of flowers, the tranquility under the dense tree shade, as well as the sounds of chirping insects, birds, and croaking frogs.
