Tiger Beach Amusement Park is a national 4A-level tourist attraction. Located in the southeastern part of Dalian, it is a large-scale amusement park integrating sightseeing, entertainment, and shopping. It consists of several scenic areas including Tiger Beach Park, Underwater World, and Bird Forest. Dalian Tiger Beach Amusement Park is located in the central section of Dalian’s southern coastal national scenic area, covering an area of 1.88 million square meters with over 4,000 meters of coastline. The park boasts beautiful natural scenery where mountains and sea complement each other, creating enchanting views. Surrounded by mountains on three sides and facing the sea on one, it is a prime destination for enjoying coastal natural landscapes. In front of an exquisitely designed double-eave pavilion stands a stone tablet inscribed with “Tiger Beach,” beneath which lies a “Tiger Cave.” The park’s seawater bathing beach features crystal-clear waters. By diving into the sea, visitors can explore coral-covered seabeds, harvest edible seaweed, and collect shellfish. The park also offers yachts for sea outings, adding a unique layer of fun.

The park features uniquely distinctive attractions and well-equipped facilities. These include the animal sculpture "Group Tigers Sculpture"; China’s largest artificial birdcage — the "Bird Forest," where visitors can enjoy the company of birds and feel as if they’ve returned to nature; China’s first cross-sea passenger cableway, connecting eastern and western scenic spots and offering panoramic views of the harmonious landscape; the large-scale marine life exhibition hall — "Underwater World," which showcases a dazzling array of marine treasures that captivate visitors; the Marine Animal Performance Theater, where impressive performances by sea lions and seals provide great visual delight; the Ma Sijie Sculpture Art Museum, home to a collection of fine artworks that offer visitors an elegant artistic experience. The Underwater World features performances by mermaids and swimmers, as well as animal shows and special theatrical performances that create a joyful atmosphere throughout. The marvelous Underwater World within Tiger Beach Amusement Park stretches 220 meters in length and covers an area of 3,300 square meters. Stepping into the “undersea” area, under dim lighting, you’ll see a tranquil beach, ancient shipwrecks, and various fish species, giving you the sensation of being submerged in an underwater world. The exhibit displays over 100 species of marine life, totaling more than 2,000 specimens, including red seabream, guitarfish, pufferfish, sharks, horseshoe crabs, flounders, turtles, seals, penguins, live coral, and live anemones — all vibrant and colorful, leaving visitors in awe. Performances such as scuba diving in gear, free diving, and swimsuit diving offer eye-opening experiences. The mermaid diving performance brings Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale to life. The charming Bird Forest is nestled in a valley in the southwest of Tiger Beach Bay, covering an area of 1.8 hectares. The forest is home to over 1,000 birds of more than 150 species, including white and blue peacocks, red-crowned parrots, larks, thrushes, and egrets, living together like one big harmonious family. The natural rocks, trees, and landscapes within the birdcages allow visitors to stroll along mountain paths and intimately “chat” with the birds, immersing themselves in nature and enjoying endless fun. The bird performance arena features trained bird shows, including a white parrot walking a tightrope, climbing a ladder, riding a bicycle, driving a train, and even flying a plane — over ten exciting acts in total. Dozens of trained peacocks spread their wings and fly southeast, bringing an ancient poem to life and leaving visitors amazed.
