Dalian Tiger Beach Ocean Park is located in the central area of Dalian’s southern seashore, which is part of a national scenic zone. Covering an area of 1.18 million square meters, it boasts over 4,000 meters of winding coastline. The park features blue skies, clear seas, green hills, and unique rocks, all blending harmoniously to create stunning seaside scenery. It houses Asia’s largest large-scale marine life exhibition hall primarily showcasing coral reef organisms—the Coral Hall; the world’s largest and China’s only venue displaying polar marine animals and offering polar experiences—the Polar World; the country’s largest semi-natural man-made aviary—the Bird Forest; the nation’s largest granite animal stone sculpture—the Tiger Group Sculpture; and the nationally renowned Ma Siji Root Carving Art Museum, which turns decay into magic. Other nationally acclaimed attractions include the country’s longest large-scale cross-sea aerial cableway; the largest tourist sightseeing ship in Dalian’s southern waters; a special film venue—the 4D Cinema; as well as thrilling amusement facilities such as the Jurassic Rapids Adventure, pirate ship, bungee jumping, and speed sliding.

It was among the first group of attractions rated as a national AAAA-level scenic spot by the National Tourism Administration, recognized as a well-known Chinese tourism brand, and has been certified under the ISO9001 quality management system and the ISO14001 environmental management system. Tiger Beach Ocean Park showcases marine culture, highlights the characteristics of the coastal city, and integrates sightseeing, entertainment, science education, shopping, and culture into a modern ocean-themed park. On May 8, 2007, Dalian Tiger Beach Ocean Park and Tiger Beach Polar World were officially approved by the National Tourism Administration as national 5A-level tourist attractions.
