Wan’an Temple in Wafangdian

Wan’an Temple in Wafangdian is a cultural tourism attraction.

Located in Jianshangou Village, Xingtun Village, Wanling Town, Wafangdian City, the temple was built in 2002, covering an area of approximately 14,800 square meters with a construction area of over 600 square meters.

The temple features the Mahavira Hall, the Chanting Hall, and the Dining Hall. The Mahavira Hall houses a 3.5-meter-tall statue of Sakyamuni Buddha, as well as statues of the Medicine Buddha and Amitabha Buddha. The four corners are adorned with statues of the Four Great Bodhisattvas: Guanyin, Ksitigarbha, Samantabhadra, and Manjushri, while the sides feature statues of the Eighteen Arhats. The annual temple fair is held on the eighth day of the fourth lunar month.
