Celebrating Women’s Day: 5 Tourist Factories in New Taipei City Offer Special Promotions

To show appreciation to hardworking moms and women, five tourist factories in New Taipei City have launched special promotions for International Women’s Day.

Located in Tamsui District, the Liuzhuan Tianxia Art Museum is one of the few tourist factories in Taiwan focused on glass art. To thank female visitors, admission on International Women’s Day is set at NT$200 (original price NT$250), and the ticket can be used as credit toward DIY activities or merchandise.

The Yvette Ice Cream Dream Factory is giving the first 100 female visitors that day a specially designed Lips Chocolate.

The Hongzhou Ceramic Tile Tourist Factory features a “Handcrafted Harmony Ring” DIY activity, where visitors can paint their own creativity onto round ceramic tiles, which are then fired, cooled, and tied with a traditional Chinese knot to create a unique souvenir. The Yumeiren Maternity Wear Tourist Factory offers various fabrics and styles for women to make their own needlework kits. VIG Cake House Pineapple Cake Dream Factory is offering free guided tours. The promotions at Hongzhou Ceramic Tiles, Yumeiren Maternity Wear, and VIG Cake House are limited to the first 100 female visitors that day.
