Located in Beiwang Village, Gangdian Office, Wafangdian City, Sequoia Manor is a high-end park-style leisure resort meticulously developed by Wafangdian Far East Bearing Group with an investment of 50 million yuan. Themed around sequoia trees, also known as coast redwoods, evergreen redwoods, North American redwoods, or California redwoods—commonly referred to as sequoias. Sequoias are distributed in a narrow strip below 1,000 meters altitude across 800 kilometers from north to south in California and Oregon, USA. They can also be found in Gansu, Yunnan, and Sichuan provinces in China. Mature sequoias can reach heights of 60–100 meters and have exceptionally long lifespans, with some living for 2,000–3,000 years. Sequoias grow rapidly, have high survival rates, and their thick bark provides strong resistance to pests and fire. As a result, they are recognized as one of the most valuable tree species in the world. At Sequoia Manor, sequoias of various species and ages are scattered throughout the property, appearing in the landscaping of Japan’s premium koi fish ponds, floral gardens, cherry orchards, and vegetable gardens. To achieve top-tier domestic standards, Sequoia Manor hired renowned Chinese designers and decorators for luxurious interior fittings, using premium building materials to create a unique style and quality.
