Baoxing Reservoir

Baoxing Reservoir is located in Jinxing Township, southeast of Xifeng, 23 kilometers from the county seat. It is currently the largest reservoir in the county, built on the upper reaches of the Xiaokou River. The catchment area above the dam covers 37.1 square kilometers, with a river length of 11.4 kilometers. The dam is 18.65 meters high, the reservoir area spans 630 mu, and its capacity is 7.42 million cubic meters. It is a multi-purpose reservoir integrating flood control, irrigation, fish farming, and tourism.

Baoxing Reservoir is situated on the northeastern slope of Bingliang Mountain, surrounded by mountains and lush vegetation. With its harmonious blend of mountains and water, crystal-clear and unpolluted water quality, beautiful natural scenery, and excellent ecological environment, it is an ideal destination for fishing, swimming, boating, leisure vacations, and summer retreats.
