Chengzi Mountain Mountain City is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Chengzi Mountain Mountain City is located on Chengzi Mountain, 7.5 kilometers south of Liangquan Town, Xifeng County. It was initially built in the early Tang Dynasty and served as a major mountain fortress during the Goguryeo period. The fortress was constructed along the mountain ridge using rectangular stone blocks, stretching approximately 3,850 meters in total length, about 870 meters wide from north to south, around 1,350 meters long from east to west, and roughly 5 meters in height. The fortress sits high above with winding and rugged roads, featuring naturally defensible terrain. Within the city, several ancient ruins can still be found, including a water storage pool, a watchtower, a general's platform, a horse path, Huangjiu Tavern, and a mountain temple. A small stream meanders down the mountain, home to unique local fish known as frogfish, a highlight of the mountain city. The Qih River and Qing River reservoirs boast vast waters with crystal-clear surfaces, offering serene boat rides and uplifting vistas. Surrounded by mountains, the reservoir areas feature towering trees, rugged rocks, birdsong, and fragrant flowers—stunning scenery that captivates and lingers in the heart. Built around the Qing River Reservoir, the Qinghe Tourist Area integrates accommodation, entertainment, and sightseeing, making it an ideal destination for leisure and vacation.

Liangquan Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Xifeng County. It belonged to Xifeng County in 1945, was placed under Fangmu Sixth District in 1949, became the independent Bingquan Township in 1957, was reorganized as a commune in 1961, reinstated as a township in 1983, and upgraded to a town in 1985. Located in the southern part of the county, it is 37 kilometers from the county seat, covers an area of 121 square kilometers, and has a population of 16,000. The highway from Xifeng to Qingyuan runs through the town. It administers 13 village committees: Liangquan, Quanbei, Tianxing, Zhongxing, Wuja, Changning, Yongquan, Yudian, Qinlian, Desheng, Dexian, Deming, and Bao’an.
