The Peach Blossom Paradise Tourist Area is located in Taoran Town, Xifeng County, about 10 kilometers from the county seat. Legend has it that during the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty, the Maitreya Buddha rode on auspicious clouds passing over Qinglong Mountain. Seeing the area brimming with spiritual energy, the joyful Buddha paused to admire the view and inadvertently left a footprint, which has been preserved to this day. Today, a golden statue of the Maitreya Buddha is enshrined atop Luohan Mountain, overlooking the entire scenic area. Midway up the mountain, eight hundred arhats display diverse expressions, solemn and majestic. The Thirty-Three Guanyin Halls are grand and spectacular, bustling with incense offerings. At the foot of the mountain, in the Liberation Lake, a three-faced Guanyin stands in the water, smiling at visitors from all directions. To the east, the Great Hall of the Ten Thousand Buddhas nestles against the green hills, radiating divine light. Outdoor statues of the Three Tathagatas, Guanyin, Manjushri, and Samantabhadra sit on the southern side of Qinglong Mountain, revered by worshippers. Dozens of halls, including the Sangharama Hall, Jade Emperor Hall, Laojun Hall, Twelve Zodiac Hall, and Dragon King Hall, are scattered throughout the scenic area.
