Winding along the road of the Santagou Scenic Area, about one kilometer to the northeast, you’ll come across Lilac Mountain, blanketed in purple lilacs. Hundreds of acres of lilac blossoms cascade up the gentle slopes.

The fragrant sea unfurls along the undulating terrain. In the misty rain of early May, as a light breeze drifts by, visitors immersed in this floral ocean can catch the sweet yet slightly bitter aroma of lilacs from miles away. Parting the lilac bushes, clusters of spirea flowers dot the landscape, adding a touch of surprise to the vast purple expanse.
