To expand its international route network, Cathay Dragon recently signed codeshare agreements with Mongolian Airlines and Shenzhen Airlines, offering passengers more flight options and smoother connections. Starting July 12, Cathay Pacific will also place its “CX” code on direct flights operated by Mongolian Airlines to Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. Additionally, it will use Shenzhen Airlines’ “ZH” flight code for services between Hong Kong, Nanjing, and Xi'an.

Cathay Dragon and Mongolian Airlines have signed a codeshare agreement. Starting July 12, 2017, Cathay Pacific’s “CX” code will be placed on Mongolian Airlines’ four weekly flights between Hong Kong and Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, providing passengers with non-stop service. Meanwhile, Mongolian Airlines will also place its “OM” code on selected Cathay Pacific flights between Hong Kong and Singapore, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney.

In addition, Cathay Dragon also announced today that it has further expanded its codeshare agreement with Shenzhen Airlines, adding three new destinations to its mainland China route network. Under the new agreement, Cathay Dragon’s “KA” flight code will be placed on Shenzhen Airlines flights between Hong Kong and Yantai, Jinan, and Harbin. Meanwhile, Shenzhen Airlines’ “ZH” flight code will also be placed on Cathay Dragon flights between Hong Kong, Nanjing, and Xi'an. Passengers traveling on Cathay Dragon’s codeshare flights operated by Shenzhen Airlines can check in their checked baggage directly to their final destination, enjoying a convenient and seamless service.
