Pingdingshan Stone City Site

The Pingdingshan Stone City Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Liaoning Province.

The Pingdingshan Stone City Site is located in Pingdingshan Village, Shuangjingzi Village, Zidutai Township, Fuxin Mongolian Autonomous County, Fuxin City, and dates back to the Bronze Age.

The site lies 45 kilometers east of Fuxin City. It is situated in the upper reaches of the Niuhe River, a tributary of the Daling River, within a low mountainous and hilly area. The eastern and southern sides of the site are surrounded by low mountains, while the western and northern sides consist of flat, open mountain valleys.

On June 11, 2008, the Pingdingshan Stone City Site was designated as part of the eighth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the People's Government of Liaoning Province.

Protected area: Within the city site and 30 meters outside the outer base of the city wall to the east and west, and 50 meters to the south and north.

Construction control zone: A first-class construction control zone extends 50 meters beyond the protected area, and a second-class construction control zone extends 50 meters beyond the first-class zone.
