Yingshugou Site

The Yingshugou Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Yingkou City.

The Yingshugou Site is located in Yingshugou Village, Tangchi Town, Dashiqiao City, distributed across the residential area of the villagers and along both sides of Zhou-Tang Highway.

The Yingshugou Site covers an area of nearly one million square meters, with a cultural layer as deep as 1.6 meters. It is surrounded by mountains, with the Daqing River located 500 meters to the west. The site area is a small plain with yellow loamy soil on the surface, where crops such as sorghum and soybeans are grown. Exposed artifacts include over twenty types of pottery stamps, roof tiles, various ceramic tiles, and rims of pottery vessels, along with multiple fragments of gray pottery and red sandy pottery, as well as more than ten pottery dou handles. The site is identified as being from the Han Dynasty. There are also Han tombs located on the mountains to the northeast and southeast of the site.

In 1984, the Yingkou Municipal People's Government (Yingzheng Fa [1984] No. 108) designated the Yingshugou Site as a municipal-level cultural heritage protection unit. The scope of protection and construction control zone announced by the Yingkou Municipal People's Government (Yingzheng Fa [1990] No. 38) is as follows: the northern boundary of the protected area starts from the junction with the southern part of Zhoujiaqingzhai Village, extends south to 40 meters south of the residential area on the western side of Yingshugou Village Road, the eastern boundary begins at the foot of the mountain, and the western boundary reaches the riverbank.
