Zuma Rockis an important Nigerian landmark—you can even see it on the country’s 100-naira banknote. This huge rock sits on the main road from Nigeria’s capital, Abuja, to the northern city of Kaduna. Standing 725 meters tall, it is both massive and strikingly out of place. Some travelers say that when approaching from the north, you can clearly make out the shape of a human face on the rock’s surface. Yet, the rock itself showcases the natural beauty of its rocky layers.
