The super adorable "Pikachu Captain" will appear at Kansai International Airport in Osaka starting the 20th!

Pikachu will take on the role of a captain and make an appearance at Kansai International Airport in Japan. To celebrate the first anniversary of the Pokémon store at Kansai Airport, a celebration event will kick off on the 20th, during which "Pikachu Captain" will appear at the Kansai Airport Gallery on the second floor of Terminal 1 to take photos with passengers.

"Pikachu Captain" will make appearances over four days—namely the 20th, 21st, 27th, and 28th—each day at 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM, with each session lasting about 20 minutes.

Passengers who wish to take photos with Pikachu must meet certain conditions: they need to purchase limited-edition merchandise from the Pokémon store at Kansai Airport in order to take a photo with Pikachu at the airport, but there is a limit on the number of participants.
