Due to weather conditions, the blooming period of cherry blossom sites across Taiwan has been slightly delayed. The popular cherry blossom spot in New Taipei City, Tamsui Tianyuan Temple, has only recently reached full bloom. Approximately 90% of the Yoshino cherry blossoms in the entire area are in bloom, the large stone at the entrance is about 100% in bloom, other areas are around 70–80% in bloom, and the cherry trees near the original "King Cherry Blossom" are speculated to have absorbed the vitality of the King, currently at 100% bloom. The best viewing period will last through this coming week, so visitors hoping to enjoy the sight of falling cherry blossoms should seize the opportunity. Additionally, due to this year’s delayed blooming, the cherry blossom shuttle bus service, originally scheduled to end on the 9th, has been extended until the 23rd.
