An owner fell into a valley while skiing, and his Husky "Juneau" saved his life.
"A dog is a man’s best friend" — the Husky "Juneau (Juneau)" has once again proven this saying to be true. Its owner, Leonard Somers, went skiing in the rural parts of Colorado, had an accident and fell into a valley, suffering injuries to his back and neck from being pinned under a tree trunk and was unable to move. Seeing this, Juneau ran outside and barked for help, drawing the attention of other skiers. The dog also lay on top of its owner to keep him warm, and ultimately helped save his life.
Leonard said that at the time, he had injured his spine and couldn’t move. Five-year-old Juneau knew he needed help. Not only did it run outside to get help, but it also helped dig away the snow. "It lay on my feet and body to keep me warm until I was rescued."
"I love it so much. If you see it out there, please give it a kiss and a big hug." Leonard expressed his gratitude to Juneau for saving his life and also hoped that people who see Juneau will remember to encourage it.
